Wild Iris

These grow in the most inhospitable places, where the winds are strongest and the storms are worst. We found them at Louisberg, Cape Spear and at Long Point. All three are exposed to the elements, but have wetland conditions.

Who knew

The green grassy area above these cliffs are filled with dozens of wildflowers, and are soft as a carpet.
