Friday, July 8 - Concert, Petty Harbour, and Cape Spear

Petty Harbour is famous because a couple of movies were made there. Farley Mowat's book, "A Whale for the Killing" was made into a movie and parts of it were filmed in Petty Harbour. Also a Bo Derek movie was made there as well. We chatted with 3 teens who were working at the local museum, they said that the biggest news was a brand new pickup truck had been mysteriously dumped into the harbour and found the day before we got there.
