This was our traveling day to get us back to St. John's. We booked a room at St. Jude's Hotel in Clarenville, a town just off the Trans-Canada highway. Turns out that Clarenville is as historic town because of its location where the Transatlantic Cable connected to North America. We spent some time looking around town, and shopping in the two Thrift Stores. We enjoyed an excellent pasta supper at the hotel restaurant.
